Holding Over Cremations

Joint Guidance on the above has been produced by stakeholder organisations. This guidance places the decision making on the cremation authority however it clarifies that the following:
Holding over is not unlawful
Consent must be obtained to hold over
Environmental impact
Secure and sanitary conditions for storage
