Cemetery Operatives Training Scheme
The ICCM recognises that trained cemetery operatives and managers are vital to the provision of an efficient, effective and safe service to the bereaved.
The Institute is a City & Guilds NPTC training centre that delivers and certificates gravedigging courses to this nationally recognised standard.
Health and Safety law places a positive duty upon burial authorities to provide a safe workplace and safe systems of work that will protect the health & safety of employees, persons attending and officiating at funerals, visitors and any other person that may use a cemetery.
The Scheme has been designed by the Institute to train, assess and certificate operatives in safe working practice and to encourage a process of thought that will assist with accident prevention. All COTS training can take place on your site.
